Wear Africa..

Hey you see or read :)

Hello fashion lovers,
I feel so privilege to live in a time, where West African fashion is exploding and loved to wear,
Ankara cloth is seen everywhere nowadays, on slippers, shoe`s. t-shirts even, bags even on baby diapers.
As a blogger I analyses and research a lot about, fashion world and the major thing I have concluded is that African designers are still trying hard to reach into the mean stream fashion scene in western world.
Like in fashion week, this is a fashion industry event, lasting approximately one week, which allows fashion designers, brands or “houses” to display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers and the media to take a look at the latest trends. Most importantly, these events let the industry know what’s “in” and what’s “out” for the season.
The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the four fashion capitals of the world: Paris, New York City, Milan, and London. Some other important fashion weeks in the world are held in Amsterdam, [Bangalore, Barcelona, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Dubai, Jakarta, Los Angeles, Madrid, São Paulo, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto.

When it comes to the fashion industry I feel like we are finally making progress, but we are not on the same level as the international front, our continent is full of so much beauty and textile yet when it comes to the fashion industry we don’t have the support or production that the fashion industry internationally has right now.
I know this held back of African fashion will also make its way to the top, nothing last forever, even in partiality.
As a beauty fashion vlogger/blogger, on YouTube i share my views, and inspiration with the creation of Ankara or etuma cloth: watch how i make an Ankara hand clutch!!
Enjoy… till the next vlog Fashionista`s
