De ogen: this fall of Herfst 2013

Niet alleen qua
fashion zijn de trends ieder seizoen anders, ook qua make-up en beauty is dit
het geval. Het ene jaar is een smokey eye dé trend van dat seizoen terwijl een
subtiele oog look het andere seizoen weer helemaal hot is. De beautytrends
blijven ieder seizoen wisselen en ondanks dat lang niet iedereen zo actief aan
deze beautytrends mee doet, zien we het toch duidelijk steeds veranderen in het
modebeeld en op de catwalk.
Dit najaar zijn er 3
trends op het gebied van oog looks.
1. Dikke eyeliner
Een dikke eyeliner
of zwart kohlpotlood lijn boven je ogen is een beautytrend dit najaar. Hoe
zwarter, hoe beter. Deze look past goed bij het najaar en de donkere
najaarskleding. Bij deze look is het de bedoeling dat je de waterlijn en de
bovenkant van je winterrand zwart maakt met vloeibare eyeliner of kohl potlood.
Je kunt deze eyeliner uit laten lopen in een wing zoals op de foto hieronder.
2. Metallic eyeliner
Dit seizoen is
metallic make-up een grote trend. Vooral voor speciale gelegenheden of voor de
feestdagen is het leuk om je zwarte eyeliner in te ruilen voor een metallic
eyeliner. Dit geeft je oog look een feestelijke uitstraling en is net even een
tikkeltje aparter en opvallender. Uiteraard kun je deze metallic eyeliner
combineren met een mooi laagje zwarte mascara.
3. Warme oogschaduw
Bij het najaar horen
warme kleuren, zowel qua kleding als make-up. Dit seizoen zijn kleuren als
bordeaux rood en bruin perfect voor je ogen in de vorm van oogschaduw. Vooral
bij dames met lichte ogen, blauw of groen, staat deze trend perfect. Hierdoor
komen je felle ogen nog beter uit. Naast de donkere oogschaduw kun je eyeliner
en mascara dragen.

Celebrity Fashion Police: What’s Wrong With These Outfits

1) Tonto Dikeh: Oh-oh… The actress definitely did not she expect she would fall off but it that happened anyway and she definitely revealed enough boóbs. Well that’s what you get for wearing a very revealing cleavage dress.
2) Genevieve Nnaji: Yea the dress no doubt looks lovely on this beautiful/talented actress but hmm…the upper part showed way too much cleavage. While some of her fans think there was nothing wrong, others felt she shouldn’t have shown too much.
4) Yvonne Jegede: The actress looks like she saying I got it so let me flaunt it, well that’s what the picture looks like. While we are not against her flaunting what you has but sometimes less does it better

4) Yvonne Jegede: The actress looks like she saying I got it so let me flaunt it, well that’s what the picture looks like. While we are not against her flaunting what you has but sometimes less does it better

Toke Makinwa: No doubt the dress fits this Petite On-Air-Personality but she showed us way too much, with her showing off her side bóobs and nipples. This is way too much distraction for the guys of course. Don’t you think?

Models of ANTM – Where Are They Now?

America's Next Top Model has always been one of our favorite guilty pleasures. After more than a decade on the air, how could we not be lifelong fans? But, the question everyone's asking is, "What happens after the show?" Where do these budding young models end up? To satisfy your curiosity, here are what some of Tyra's many protegees are doing now.
Nicole Linkletter’s (Cycle 5) adorably commercial beauty has recently landed her a job with Forever 21.com, where you’ve probably seen her modeling this summer’s latest flirty sundresses and cute crop tops.
Analeigh Tipton, Cycle 11, has moved on from modeling to a successful acting career, starring in Crazy Stupid Love and also appearing in The Green Hornet and Warm Bodies.
Jade Cole of Cycle 6, known for her bizarre yet powerful personality, has had a successful career in international modeling, including work with Jay-Z’s Rocawear, and has gone on to found her own media production company, Biracial Butterfly Productions.
Adrianne Curry may be remembered as the first winner of ANTM, and it looks like this Chicago wild child never calmed down. After modeling for Playboy in 2008, Curry met Christopher Knight of The Brady Bunch fame on The Surreal Life. Their marriage led to My Fair Brady, and Adrienne later appeared on Family Feud before divorcing Knight in 2012.
Eva Marcille (Cycle 3), Top Model’s shortest winner (excluding the petite season), left Tyra Banks and Benny Medina’s management to pursue acting. Her most prominent role thus far was as Tyra Hamilton on The Young and the Restless (2008-2009).
Cassandra Whitehead, who famously left the show during Cycle 5 after her hair was cut short, recently appeared on the Mad Men season finale (long, auburn locks perfectly intact).
Kim Stolz, one of ANTM’s first openly gay contestants who appeared on Cycle 5, has continued to use her bold, brassy personality as well as modeling talent. Stolz is currently signed with Ford Models and is a contributing writer for The Huffington Post as well as a news correspondent for MTV. Stolz recently married longtime girlfriend and business partner Lexi Ritsch, who works at the SoHo cocktail lounge Stolz owns, The Dalloway.
Caridee English, was a fan favorite in Cycle 7 who ultimately triumphed over the insufferable Melrose in that weird zombie bride fashion show, but she hasn’t done much post-ANTM modeling. She did, however, spend some time hosting Oxygen’s Pretty Wicked. And who doesn’t love a good reality TV personality?
Bre Scullark of Cycle 5 is still modeling and now acts as a spokesperson for Drop Dead Gorgeous, a foundation working to stop child sex trafficking.
Elyse Sewell made it to the top three during Cycle 1, and, despite her insistence on the show that she preferred med school to modeling, Sewell has gone on to become a successful international model, even publishing a book called Beauty and The Biz: The International Adventures of America's Third-to-Next Top Model.
Lisa D’Amato, better known as Crazy Lisa from Cycle 5, doesn’t seem to have calmed down any since Top Model, pursuing a dubious musical career (check out her painful music video here) and eventually ending up on MTV’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for her drug abuse.
Isis King, Cycle 11, was ANTM’s first trans competitor and appeared on The Tyra Show, where she was awarded an all-expenses-paid gender reassignment surgery. King has gone on to model for Seventeen magazine and is currently signed with JB Models.
AzMarie Livingston of Cycle 18 may not have gotten very far in the competition, but she did make headlines recently while allegedly dating former Disney star Raven Symone!
Sara Albert-Hallmark was frequently mocked during ANTM Cycle 6 for being discovered in a shopping mall, but her subsequent modeling career and current law degree suggest she had more going for her than your typical 6-foot blonde. She now lives with her husband in Washington, D.C.
Whitney Thompson, Top Model’s first plus-size winner (Cycle 10), is still modeling and also acts as an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association.
